Rin's Combat School - Daruk's Perfect Parry

Welcome to Rin’s Combat School, a series where we’ll be going over one technique at a time and showing its uses and combat. Daruk’s Perfect Parry uses Daruk’s Protection in a unique way, and has the same properties as if used normally but if done correctly does not use any resources and can be used infinitely this is activated by simply tapping ZL as fast as possible. If held for even a couple frames to long it’ll become a normal Daruk’s Protection and use up a resource this can only be mastered with lots of practice as this technique has a tighter window than even a regular parry and it’s difficult to use 100% of the time against enemy attacks. This can be used in a variety of ways including parrying enemy attacks, preventing fall damage, and bomb parrying. For best effect I recommend use this as a bomb parry technique as it’s easier to control your own detonation timing rather than the enemy attack.
