Tata EVision Electric Car Concept: All You Need To Know

Tata Motors has surely come a long long way since they first debuted the Indica back in 1998 marking the 20th anniversary at the Geneva Motor Show in fine style the Indian manufacturers showcased the stunning EVision concept alongside the h5x SUV and the 4/5 X hatchback concept here’s what you need to know about Tata’s latest electric sedan concept. EVision concept is based on Tata’s omega platform. This is the same platform that underpins the h5x and is derived from Land Rover.
It is the third vehicle to adopt Tata’s new impact design philosophy and boy oh boy does it look amazing. Tata signature element including the three grill, the strong shoulder lines and the tri-arrow detailing gives the EVision doodles of character there’s an interesting fact the grill has four thousand individual pins encased in a glass panel. Talk about attention to detail. The interior is inviting finished in warm tones of aged wood and brushed aluminium there’s some appreciable detailing here too especially around the speaker grills and the upholstery that’s quite a couple of party tricks as well like an instrument panel that hides away into the dash when not in use.
Tata has also equipped the EVision concept with two screens; one in place of the instrument cluster and the other on top of the dash. This drives the point of minimalism home quite nicely Tata claims that the adjustable rear seats provide unmatched knee and Headroom there is no protruding transmission panel either which amplifies the sense of space and there is no hump on the floor because it’s electric. Now there are no specifics part to the EVision is an all-electric sedan with a motor on each axle Tata claims a 0-100 kilometers on our time of under 7 seconds and a top speed of 200 kilometers an hour. Concept is also capable of fast charging other tech includes protective energy management based on traffic, cloud computing and advanced driver aids so what will the evasion eventually mob into. Well that’s something we’d have to wait and watch for but we can tell you is that it’s a full sized bigger than the city, the Ciaz and it’s like so it might just end up in the Toyota Corollas playground.
